Embedded with fierce action and taut thrills, this family-oriented drama depicts the dangers faced by the family of Palamattathu Varghese Mappila (Saikumar), a wealthy Nasrani, retired captain of the Indian Army. He has four children, Christy (Mohanlal), Joji (Dileep), Jessy (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy) and Stella (Kanika). Christy is a high profile police informer who is working in Mumbai and getting high amounts as remuneration. His brother Joji goes to Italy to study theology, but later opts out of it after he falls in love with Meenakshi (Kavya Madhavan), daughter of the state home minister (Devan). His family has no clear idea about the nature of Christy's activities before Christy's brother-in-law, Jesse's husband, George Kutti sparks Christy's suspicion after exposing himself through some lies. Christy finds about brother-in-law's relationship with rowdies and the fact that he was arrested for sex-racketing . All these come as a shock to Varghese Mappila. Varghese Mappila kicks Christy out of their house believing the brother-in-law. Joji's relationship with Meenakshi comes to the knowledge of her parents, who are very much against the relationship. At this critical juncture, while returning home she is mysteriously kidnapped. Unable to bear the separation from his daughter, her father calls Christy seeking his help in identifying the kidnappers and retrieving Meenakshi.. Christy finds that his brother-in-law was the person who kidnapped Meenakshi. He fights with his brother-in-law and safely brings Meenakshi back to her home. The very next day, police find that Christy's brother-in-law murdered in cold blood. The Police arrest Christy for the crime. Christy's friend (Sarath Kumar) brings him out of the jail. Meanwhile, a police officer (Suresh Gopi) marries Stella, Christy's other sister. Christy helps Joji marry Meenakshi by bringing her out of her house. Both Christy and the police officer investigate the murder of their brother-in-law, fully intent on identifying his murderer. Will they succeed in identifying the killer? How will the future unfold for Palamattathu Varghese Mappila and his family? Can Christy provide proof of his innocence to his father and the rest of the world?
