Cheppu (1987)

Authentic and action-packed, this youthful social drama delves into the events that unfold in the life of Ramachandran (Mohanlal), a fearless and intelligent man, who is thrilled when he gains employment at T. K. P. Memorial College, a deputed educational institution. Appointed as the new English lecturer, he joins the student population in the campus with a great deal of anticipation, but is shocked and angered to find that the college is full of drugs, violence, politics, with the majority of sincere students being exploited and abused by a few criminal elements. Now, it is up to Ramachandran to stand up for justice and bring back peace and a healthy learning environment in the college. Will he be able to single-handedly accomplish this immense task?
