In 1879, Rio is forced to go on the run across the American Southwest to save his sister Sara from his villainous uncle Grant Cutler. Along the way, he encounters infamous outlaw Billy the Kid and legendary lawman Pat Garrett. As Rio finds himself increasingly entwined in the lives of these two legendary figures, the cat and mouse game between the two plays out.
