The Impermanence Project (2011)

Nothing we experience in life is permanent. Every human being faces choice, every human being faces change, and ultimately every human being faces death. In the face of this undeniable impermanence, are we able to embrace the unknowable or will we rush away from its frightening mystery? The Impermanence Project aims to inspire ideas about living a fuller life, a translation of what is knowable to one person made accessible to all. Combining video footage, archival reels, photographs, music, and writing, The Project will explore concepts of beauty, spirituality, aesthetics, the process of dying, philosophy, creativity, and medicine.
