Tejendra Narayan Majumdar

Indian sarod player and pupil of Bahadur Khan, Tejendra Narayan Majumdar is a popular and celebrated sard musicians of India. He had started his training in music under the tutelage of his grandfather Bibhuti Ranjan Majumdar with the mandolin. He had also received vocal and tabla training under Amaresh Chowdhury and Anil Palit. He had forayed into the field of Bengali cinema as a music director with Bengali movie 'Tollylights', directed by Arjun Chakraborty, and recently he had composed the music for the 2017 Bengali movie 'Chitrokar', directed by Saibal Mitra. He is married to Manasi Majumdar and has one son named Indrayudh.
