Samadhi (1972)

Lakhan Singh is a bandit, who first kidnaps Champa, falls for her and then marries her. Lakhan decides to change into a better man, but his wife becomes critically ill. Lakhan tries to borrow money which fails leading him to abduct a millionaire's son for ransom. The son agrees to give him money and help but dies in an accident which follows. Lakhan creates a Samadhi for him as a symbol of his respect and affection, as his ill fate follows him and destroy's his life.
