Embedded with clever wit and deep insight, this complex romantic drama depicts the trials and triumphs in the life of a Bombay-based bachelor, Jai Shankar Rai. He is young and ambitious, willing to do anything in order to climb the corporate ladder. In Jai's desperation, he is even willing to do the dirty work of his bosses, including allowing them the use of his apartment for their extra marital affairs. Happy and satisfied with his steady rise at work, Jai goes out of his way to help the beautiful but destitute young lady Neeta Sinha, and gets her a job at his firm. Even as he finds himself falling deeply in love with Neeta, he's sure to find that she is his boss Ranjeet Choudhary's next target. Will he choose to silently abet his boss's exploitation of Neeta or will he endanger his career by protecting her?
