Murali Krishnudu (1988)

This socially relevant romantic drama revolves around Murali Krishna, a wealthy businessman who leads a luxurious and carefree life, spending most of his time with wine and women.

On one occasion, Murali Krishna's driver casually gives a lift to Krishnaveni, a beautiful young woman who works as a dance teacher in a drama company and lives with her widowed mother. His action causes rumours and gossip about the nature of her relationship with Murali Krishna to spread like wildfire.

In the meantime, the owner of the drama company encourages her to take advantage of her apparent connection with Murali Krishna, in the hopes of getting a sizeable donation or financial support from him. Krishnaveni doesn't realise the negative effects of making use of the gossip about her relationship with Murali Krishna and continues to fuel the fire by pretending that she is his girlfriend.

Over a period of time, Krishnaveni and her boss become bold and send all their company bills to Murali Krishna's company. He's infuriated when he comes to know of their deception and decides to confront Krishnaveni, but falls in love with her at first sight.

In an impulsive move, he decides to introduce himself as a humble bill collector in the wealthy Murali Krishna's company, and does not reveal his true identity.
Krishna's company. Over a period of time, they become friendly and eventually fall in love. When Murali Krishna reveals his true identity and expresses his love, Krishnaveni accepts and reciprocates heartily.
