The film opens with a woman named Gayathri who joins a housing colony as a paying guest, meets with her college friend Anoop who desires to marry his lover and fly off to the United States. Gayathri befriends Sarath and lands a job at his ad agency using his help and also falls in love with him. At this juncture, George Varghese, a story writer arrives in this colony and the characters in his story dramatically reflect the life of people living in the colony.
