Kuttethan (1990)

This socially relevant drama delves into the sensitive matter of human sexuality through the twists and turns in the life of Vishnu (Mammootty), a wealthy and successful businessman, who is happily married to innocent Seetha (Saritha). Vishnu is a flirt and is always interested in having affairs with multiple partners. However most of his plans did always become unsuccessful. He pretends to love Ragini (Shyama) and tries to seduce her with promises of marriage, but of course, he has no intentions of actually marrying her. He starts having an affair with the young and beautiful Revathi (Lizy Priyadarshan). He also gets infatuated by the newly appointed steno Rose Mary (Urvashi) at his office. But every time, he fails to reach his target. He is so lascivious that he even gets attracted to a teenage girl (Suma Jayaram). The situation gets worse after he teams up with Thomas Chacko (Thilakan) and Murali. Murali introduces Vishnu to a new girl Indhu (Maathu) who is an orphan. Indu is child-like and innocent and she blindly believes Murali. She trustingly agrees to go with Vishnu to his house. Vishnu, eagerly waiting for sexual intercourse, gets distracted and disappointed by Indhu's genuine nature. The twist in the tale happens when Vishnu's mother (Sukumari), Malathi and her father arrive at Vishnu's bungalow. Vishnu manages to make his family believe that Indhu is his illegitimate daughter. and his family accept this explanation. However, can Vishnu succeed in keeping all his secrets away from his family? How will the future unfold for him?
