Kate Winslet

Kate Elizabeth Winslet was born on the 5th of October 1975. She is an English actress and singer and the recipient of an Academy Award, an Emmy Award, four Golden Globe Awards, a Grammy Award, a BIFA Award, an AACTA Award, and three BAFTA Awards. She is the youngest person to receive six Academy Award nominations with seven nominations in total, and also is one of the few actresses to have won three out of four major American entertainment awards (EGOT). She also has won awards from the Screen Actors Guild, British Academy of Film and Television Arts, Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association among others, and an Honorary César Award in 2012.
