Kalisochina Adrushtam (1968)

Rao Bahadur Raghavendra is an exceptionally wealthy man from a royal lineage, who is deeply in love with his pregnant wife. However, during a train journey there are complications in the pregnancy and despite the best efforts of doctors, both his wife and unborn child pass away.

In the same hospital, there is an impoverished, pregnant woman with so many children on the verge of starvation, that she wishes to commit suicide. She is convinced to have her child, a beautiful, baby boy and give him away for adoption to Raghavendra.

The Rao Bahadur returns home with his infant son and names him Prakash. The lucky child grows up with every possible comfort and luxury. Will Raghavendra succeed in keeping his secret of Prakash's birth forever? How will Prakash's future unfold? Will destiny reunite Prakash with his birth mother and siblings?
