Halyo Aa Putt Actor Thiyan (2012)

A lot of of people move to Mumbai daily to make it big in the film industry. Lalu, an aspiring actor and son of a businessman Hemandas is one of them. In Mumbai, Lalu stays at his father's friend Dharamdas' home where Dharamdas son Kundan, a failed actor turned production manager takes it upon himself. He arranges for a music director, a dance director and an acting coach to train Lalu. Kundan also takes him to various studios and Lalu gets glimpses of the tinsel town. Lalu, a simpleton, soon becomes the darling of the house. Dharamdas and Nirmala treat him like their own son and Sweety falls in love with him. But Kundan has ulterior motives. Kundan, who had previously taken a loan from a lady don - Champa to finance a Bhojpuri film had earlier been cheated by the film's producer. He thus sees a scapegoat in Lalu and extracts money from him on the pretext of taking his screen test. Will Lalu become a part of the Dharmadas' family, if he realizes Kundan's devious plans?
