After his dad passes away, Suraj continues to live with his abusive step-mother and her son, Deepak. When Deepak gets married to Savitri, both he and his mom start abusing her for not bringing in enough dowry. Things escalate after jewelry is stolen, and Deepak suspects Suraj of not only stealing the jewelry but also having an affair with his wife.
