Ezharakkoottam (1995)

This emotionally charged action drama traces the twists and turns in the life of group of seven orphans, who are brought up together as brothers.. Susan, a lawyer is an ardent supporter of an impoverished family, consisting of an elderly mother and seven young men led by Ara and Balu. The young men act as thugs and use violence as a means to earn a livelihood. During one of their assignments, they come up against Viswanathan, a police officer. Consequently, and enmity grows between the police officer and the young men, who soon become instrumental in Viswanathan being suspended from service by providing false witness statements. As the young men continue with their criminal activities, they are hired by Vakkachan to separate a pair of lovers. Will the young men use violence to separate the young lovers? How will the future unfold for them if they chose not to complete the task and invite the wrath of Vakkachan? Will their relationship with police officer Viswanathan remain strained or will it morph into friendship?
