Ek Saal (1957)

Usha Sinha is the daughter of a wealthy widowed Colonel. She comes across a flirt at a birthday party, who happens to be the manager hired by her father. Suresh is actually a conman hired by the colonel to take care of his daughter. Usha and Suresh fall in love, and he takes care of her and even takes her to medical checkups and makes sure she doesn't know that she has brain tumor. Suresh is actually in love with a lucknow based woman Rajani and he plans to rob the Sinha's of cash and valuables, without their knowledge.
