Devudu Chesina Manushulu (1973)

This family-oriented action saga follows the fluctuating fortunes in the life of Ramakrishna, a man who is forced by circumstance to become a smuggler. Actually, he is Kishan, the eldest son of a wealthy zamindar, who was separated from his father due to the machinations of his stepmother and her brother, and forced to lead the life of an orphan.

At a later stage, Ramakrishna recognises his folly and in the process of turning his life around, accidentally finds his way back to his ancestral estate. However, he is unable to reveal his true identity to his father, as his past haunts him.

While his younger brother Gopi (Krishna) and sister Gita (Kanchana) lead a lavish and luxurious lifestyle, Ramakrishna tries to work for the welfare of the estate. However, when another smuggler with a remarkable resemblance to him aarrives in the area, Ramakrishna must find a way to resolve all the problems and restore harmony in his household. Will he ever be able to reveal his true identity and reunite with his family?
