Wade Wilson is a former special forces operative, who loses faith in the system and becomes a mercenary, who would willingly do anything, including kill, for a price. He is subjected to a rogue experiment and forced to face painful torture. At the end, he ends up with accelerated healing powers and adopts the alter ego, Deadpool.
