Darna Mana Hai (2003)

Where did you watch this movie?

Six city students take refuge in deserted ruins when stranded on a highway, and start telling each other scary stories to keep amused. The stories include: A husband trying to scare his wife; a man stuck at a creepy "healthy hotel"; a school teacher spooked by a child's homework; a housewife scared of apples; a bizarre lift on a freeway; and a college kid with an unusual power. Unlike the usual Indian horror film, this does not resort to sound effects and visuals for thrills. Each sketch has its moments, though a couple of them could have been brilliant with small script changes, and a resistance to oversimplifying. Most of the actors do decent jobs, especially Raghubir Yadav as the freaked-out school-teacher.

Revealing Mistakes
The hotel where Anil stays is 3 story building when shown from far. But when he walks close to the hotel it becomes two story building.

Revealing Mistakes
When Karan's ghost drove away with his wife after putting water in the car's engine, the brake lights of his car were on as the car's distance increased from the camera indicating that it was not actually being driven but rather being hauled away by something else as the driver's foot was on the brakes.

Continuity
In the 'Stop' story, in the end Aftab Shivdasni stands in front of mirror and says 'stop' to himself. This petrifies him and later on he is always shown with his mouth open in a long smile, which can't possibly happen, because as soon as he said 'Stop', he is petrified, and after speaking 'stop' one's mouth ought to be closed with lips protruding outward, not with a mouth open in smile.
Trivia:
The film's basic premise is loosely inspired from the American movie Campfire Tales (1997).

This was Bollywood's first anthology film.
