American cinematographer and lead lighting artist Danielle Feinberg is known for her work in the Academy Award-winning films WALL-E, Brave and Coco.Born in Boulder, Colorado, Danielle graduated from Boulder High School and attended where she was introduced to computer animation in a computer graphics course during her junior year. After graduating from Harvard, she started working at Pixar in February 1997 as a technician managing the large libraries of data and images for rendering A Bug's Life.Outside of Pixar, she mentors girls to get them interested in STEM through groups like Girls Who Code, where she inspires and encourages the girls to dreams and pursue it by getting into STEM fields. She is also known for her credible work in the much celebrated animated movies Toy Story 2, Monters, Inc, and Finding Nemo. Feinberg’s love of combining computers and art began when she was eight years old, and first programmed a Logo turtle to create images.In addition to her Pixar work, she enjoys photographing the real world with its ornery, non-virtual light.
