Baksha Badal (1970)

Laden with laughs, this endearing romantic drama revolves around Amita Majumdar, a beautiful young woman whose mother Nirupama is a widow. Nirupama's brother, Mr Chatterjee is a botanist.

During a train journey, Amita's suitcase gets switched with that of a psychiatrist, who slowly becomes fascinated with the mystery of identifying and getting to know the person whose suitcase he had ended up with.

Upon getting to know her identity in a newspaper advertisement for a dance-drama that Amita was taking part in, the psychiatrist introduces himself to her uncle as Pramod Bhattacharya. As he is introduced to Amita and embarks upon the journey of getting to know her better, he finds himself slowly falling in love with her. Will she reciprocates his emotion? How will she responds with the truth of his identity is revealed?
