Baabu Bangaaram (2016)

As funny as it is fiery, this fast-paced saga revolves around ACP Krishna (Venkatesh), a kind-hearted man who has a lot of empathy even towards criminals. Sailaja (Nayanthara) is the daughter of Sastry (Jaya Prakash), a man who has been accused of murder and is on the run.

Sailaja runs her family with a catering business and struggling for her 4 sisters and grandmother (Shavukar Janaki) on one side and on another side she is facing an existential threat from Mallesh Yadav (Sampath Raj) a powerful goon, who is a henchman of MLA Puchappa (Posani Krishna Murali) who are after Sastry. Last but not least, she is harassed by Bathayi Babji (Pruthvi) her maternal uncle’s son who tortures her every day to marry him.

Krishna develops a soft spot for Sailaja's struggles and tries to help her. She detests persons belonging to the police department and rejects him, but will he succeed in changing her mind?

There is another twist in the tale, when Krishna is assigned the task of Sailaja's father. Is her father really a murderer? How will Sailaja react she comes to know of Krishna's real intent?
