Ayushkalam (1992)

Embedded with fiery action and quirky comedy, this fantasy thriller traces the twists and turns in the life of Balakrishnan (Mukesh), a heart patient in dire need of a heart transplant. In a lucky twist of fate, he receives the heart of a recently deceased man, Aby Mathew (Jayaram). The procedure is seemingly a huge success, but soon, Balakrishnan discovers to his utter shock and dismay, that he is in the constant company of Aby Matthew's ghost, To add to his woes, he also finds out that nobody else can see him. Now, Aby Matthew is single-mindedly focused on catching the culprits responsible for his murder, and bring them to justice. Balakrishnan has no other choice but to take up the investigation and ensure that good wins over evil. Can Balakrishnan convince Sub Inspector Damu (Sreenivasan) to investigate Aby Matthew's death and identify the people responsible for the crime?
